Assistant Aquatics Leader
CurrentJoin our team at Life Time as an Aquatics Assistant Manager and take on a pivotal role in overseeing various programs within our department, including Family Swim hours, Swim Lessons, Swim Team, and Masters Swim. In collaboration with the Manager, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the operational and financial success of the department while maintaining a safe environment for all participants. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to lead and manage a team of dedicated professionals.As an Aquatics Assistant Leader, your responsibilities will include assisting in recruiting, training, and developing Aquatics Team Members. You'll play a key role in managing the financial aspects of the Aquatics business to meet or exceed department goals. Ensuring that Aquatics Team Members provide a safe and friendly experience for members and guests will be a top priority, as well as professionally responding to all member inquiries.To excel in this role, we require candidates to have some College experience, along with at least 1 year of Customer Service Experience and 1 year of supervisory/management experience. Additionally, 1 year of swim instruction/coaching experience and 2 years of lifeguard experience are essential. Candidates must also possess certification as a National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF) Certified Pool Operator and be Red Cross Lifeguard Certified.Preferred qualifications include certification as a Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor and Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer.At Life Time, we are committed to fostering a workplace that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive.
