I was CTO of a public 100M dollars revenue company for ten years. In addition to supervising network, security, firewall, workstations, servers etc. I replaced major parts of the ERP with homemade modern web application software written by me, adding many after-sale complex projects such as warranty claims management. I worked completely by myself, and with regard to the home-made systems - did everything from installing the servers, configurating Linux, network, security, web server, email server, database server etc. - to writing every bit of server side and client-side code. In the course of ten years, I wrote something in the neighborhood of 300,000 lines of code. The software served users of all ranks of the company – from CFO and senior accountants to the last secretary and service persons, communicating extensively and intensely with everyone involved, getting all my feedback and instructions directly from actual users and top management, and resolving every bit of complexity, of which we had quite a bit.I found out-of-the-box ways to communicate with the accounting software, actually inserting raw journal entries directly into the database in order to be able to present the customers with nicer-looking invoices, and accounting with the reports they wanted, the way they wanted them. In addition to all that I supervised and prepared the regulatory work supervised by the public accounting company. In addition to that I designed and coded 100 percent of version 1.0 of Backbox (www.backbox.com) in 2009. It was installed and implemented in Coca-Cola, Leumi card, Bank Hapoalim, government agencies and many other organizations while I was the only person who supported the software (in the first year).In the last year I built and implemented 13 projects as a freelance for clients such as 10Secure, Binui & Shikun, Bezalel, Kidum, new Giveon local authority and more. I am very proficient and experienced, though don’t specialize, in Linux, perl, java, javascript, Nodejs, html, css, jquery, mysql, mssql, php and web application security. I am used to confronting large volumes of learning material and new information, accustomed to big projects and always implelment a "Get things done" approach.I am used to working by myself, but I communicate extensively and intensely (and enjoyably) with a very wide range of people who are directly or remotely relevant to whichever project we're working on - from CEOs and senior accountants to the last service persons or remote workstations. I get along with the people nobody else does.
