Job Summary:As a System Engineering Student at Rafael, you will be responsible for supporting the development and production of combat systems. You will work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure that systems meet requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Make engineering changes to product BOM and documents* Perform mechanical design of electronic components* Conduct experiments to test the rate of moisture penetration into electronic assemblies* Draw conclusions from experimental results and analyze graphs* Write companion documents to help mechanical designers* Prepare weekly reports of questions from suppliers and manufacturers* Answer questions from suppliers and manufacturers according to prioritiesQualifications:* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field* Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices* Experience with CAD software (e.g., SOLIDWORKS)* Experience with data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB)* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills* Strong communication and teamwork skillsAbilities that helped me perform this role in the best way:* Deep understanding of complex problems* Creative thinking* Service and kindness towards customers* Ability to professionally control the PLM system* Knowledge of the use of SOLIDWORKS software* Ability to use MATLAB for moisture calculations
