As a UX/UI Designer and former educator, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of user needs to the design field. My journey began in the education sector, where I spent over seven years dedicated to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of students. This experience honed my ability to empathize, communicate complex ideas clearly, and develop innovative solutions tailored to individual needs.Transitioning to the UX field, I started as a UX researcher working with non-profit organizations on diverse projects. This role allowed me to apply my research skills to understand user behaviors, motivations, and pain points. My background in education was invaluable here, as it equipped me with the ability to ask the right questions, listen actively, and synthesize information effectively.Recognizing the importance of continual learning and skill development, I enrolled in a UI/UX design boot camp. This intensive program provided me with hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, and user interface design, complementing my research expertise with practical design skills. The boot camp also emphasized user-centered design principles, a natural extension of my commitment to meeting users' needs cultivated during my teaching career. My goal as a UX/UI Designer is to create products that are not only visually appealing but also improve the overall user experience by making them easy to use and accessible to all. Drawing on my background in education, I strive to design solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and impactful. I am passionate about leveraging my unique blend of skills to make a positive difference in the lives of users, with a particular focus on supporting those who are often marginalized or overlooked.I'm always excited to take on new challenges and collaborate on innovative projects.
