Alex Stadler began his clinical mental health training in 1995. His career has included consulting and program administration for Public School Mental Health Programs, Article 31 OMH and Article 28 DOH mental health clinics, work with children, families, and the adults suffering from severe mentally illness on probation and in community-based mental health clinics, pro bono work with US Military Veterans, with children, parents and guardians in the child welfare system, in home-based work with parents and children 0-3yo in Early Intervention, with children and families in youth development, and in Medicaid, Medicare and FIDA managed care Care Management and Utilization Management. Alex has beens an advocate, a mentor, a clinical supervisor, a clinical program director, a consultant and a trainer, a utilization reviewer and auditor, and a clinician and therapist. In 2008, Alex began a contemplative meditation practice that led him to innovate his work with individuals, groups, couples and organizations by infusing mindfulness techniques and dharma into therapy that addresses anger, anxiety, depression and mood disorders, addiction and sleep disturbance, ADHD, and PTSD. On June 5, 2017, Alex began a rewarding position as a Complex Care Manager at Independence Care System, NYC, specializing in managed long term care (MLTC) work with people who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, and Spinal Cord Injuries. on 4/1/19
