The seneschal of a local SCA branch fulfills the role of administrator and coordinator. They are responsible for the effective functioning of the group as a whole and for the conduct of its affairs with other SCA groups as well as public interaction. The role of the seneschal includes liaison between the various offices, other branches, public contacts, and regional officers. Also required is the ability to create and present reports on a timely basis and ensure compliance with SCA rules and regulations from corpora level all the way down to local branch level guidelines.
