The PhD aims to investigate the effects of conducting outpatient clinic visits remotely by a telemedical solution, for people with diabetes living with an insulin pump.The areas investigated will be: - Medical perspective: What effect will it have on diabetes regulation? - Patient and HCP perception of the solution - What do they think? - Economic effect – A cost-benefit analysis.

The position includes both cinical work as well as research, preparing the final steps before starting my PhD regarding ude of telemedicine for diabetes patients.

I am affiliated with the Dept. of clinical pharmacology as a Medical student. At the moment I study poisonings with modified or prolonged release paracetamol tablets in Denmark.

I Worked with diffrents projekts, including studied&me, supporting imagine and more.

The job is paid by Aalborg Universitetshospital, but daily work place is at lægemiddelstyrelsen (Danish Medicines Agency), where I work with safety of psychotropic drugs in children.

I Work at the department of clinical microbiology. At the moment we have been studying pharmacokinetics of antibiotics.

- Screening of paticipants for inclusion criterias and exclusion criteria- Preforming various test (Measurement of exhaled nitric oxide, mannitol test and lung function examination and sputum samples)- Blood collection as well as initial treatment of these laboratory (split sample in whole blood, serum, plasma, and buffy coat)- Preforming biopsy of subcutaneus fatty tissue- Preforming dexa-scan------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Screening af deltager med henblik på inklusions og eksklusions kriterier - Udførelse af diverse test (Måling af Nitrogenmonoxid (NO) i udåndingsluften, mannitol test og Lunge funktions undersøgelse og sputum prøver)- Blodprøvetagning samt initial laboratorie behandling af disse (prøverne deles i fuldblod, serum, plasma og buffy coat) - Udførelse af Fedtbiopsi- Udførelse af Dexa-scanning.

I assist in a research project concerning the pathology of stroke and statins. . I'm responsible for the pharmacokinetic part of the project. I also assist in many daily assignments.
