A result-oriented public health professional with more than thirty years of progressive professional experience in maternal, Newborn, child, and adolescent health including family planning, MPDSR, health care quality, HRH development and regulation, capacity building for health professionals and program officers, organizing and facilitate in-service training, coaching and mentorship. I have experience working with government and non-government organizations such as bilateral and multilateral agencies, civil societies, community-based and faith-based organizations, professional associations, and academia in my tenure as a clinician, academician, consultant, and program officer. Moreover, participated in extracurricular activities and served as president and board member for six years for the Ethiopia Midwife Association.In my current position as a program analyst, responsible for HRH, maternal health, and ISRH focal person for the Maternal Health Trust Fund and fistula program delivering results on time, within budget, and to the highest specification; providing professional and accurate technical support to FMOH through engaging in different TWG focused on maternal health; participate in strategies, guidelines and training material development that improve maternal health services; analyzing midwifery and HRH assessment, generate evidence on obstetric fistula and uterine prolapse, documenting best practices, present and disseminated national and international conferences. Hence, I made sure the highest quality standards were always met in my previous leadership in midwifery, association, and current duty.I am a graduate of Addis Ababa University with an MA degree in Social work, MPH in public health, BSc in Nursing, BA in Sociology and Social Administration, and also Advanced Diploma in Midwifery and a diploma in Nursing. My educational background and work experience make me versatile socially sensitive and have good interpersonal skills that enabled me to embrace diversity. Thus, ready to take up a higher and more challenging assignment in any geographic location and setting.
