DISPLO designs and produces POS concepts: permanent displays, ‘shop in shops’, shell furnishing or other visual solutions. My responsibility as an account manager is to manage the selling and design process from the initial contact until the delivery of the product:* Searching clients: ‘Cold calling and getting my foot in’. Not always that exciting, but certainly a very necessary means to a satisfactory end. * Analysing the Client briefings: Understanding the specific needs of a specific client is crucial. Getting a sense of design direction, budget and purpose is the key to later success. * Briefing of the in-house designers: Communicating the concept over to our skillful designers without limiting their creativity but keeping them on budget is sometimes challenging but always very fun.* Presenting designs to clients and winning the pitch. The thrill of a good presentation and matching the clients vision gives me the drive to start cold calling again ;-).* Follow up on the order to deliver the project on time!* Enjoy the clients smile when he sees the end result!
