Originally a research and development division of HCL, it emerged as an independent company in 1991 when HCL ventured into the software services business.I joined HCL on a very challenging project.This project gave me an exposure to work on an application which had to start from scratch. The product involved gathering requirements from the clients as well as from the Network Teams. It gave me an opportunity to know all phases of SDLC. An application to be created in an Agile environment gave opportunities to learn multiple phases of business. This product also helped me gain knowledge on Test Automation suites and creating it. The development and delivery of this product saw multiple challenges and multiple team interaction. It also gave me chance to mentor young colleagues.
