• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, California legislators, labor, environmental and community organizations.• Serve as the liaison between the Tom Steyer’s campaign and labor organizations across the state of California, building an alliance to help support the Tom Steyer Campaign.• Communicate the needs and views of local leaders from Riverside County back to Tom Steyer’s campaign. • Work with elected officials and union leaders to coordinate events such as the Climate Warrior Town Hall, phone bank events, and voter engagement event opportunities.• Manage relationships to secure endorsements for Tom Steyer from elected officials, democratic party leaders and union leaders.

United Teachers Los Angeles is the largest teachers union in the state and second in the country and represents 35,000 educators at LAUSD. As the Political Organizer I led UTLA's field campaigns and lobbying to pass pro-public education and related legislation. I have led member engagement political programs for UTLA endorsed candidate campaigns, coordinated campaign operations for UTLA political campaigns, run field programs for pro-public education ballot measures and managed phone bank operation for union wide dues increase campaign. Such campaigns involve union leadership, professional and other UTLA staff, campaign organizing coordinators, member volunteers, community service volunteers and build/maintain relationships with elected officials to help move UTLA’s political agenda through the legislative process. Also guide the design and implementation of campaigns and political strategies to promote pro-public education and related legislation and policies, and to elect UTLA-endorsed candidates.

SEIU- ULTCW currently represents close to 300,00 long-term care and nursing home employees in ten counties around the state of California. Responsible for assisting in and coordinating activities for a broad range of program objectives based on empowering our members to be a powerful force at their work sites, in the legislative process, and at the ballot box. Managed campaigns for candidates the organization endorsed, invited elected officials to important rally’s, contract campaigns and events with members. Represented LAUSD 4,000 classified employees at all levels of representation: organizing, grievance administration, arbitration procedures, contract negotiations, representational campaigns, and electoral campaigns.

Coordinated volunteer program and field program to help increase voter registration and electoral turn-out in the Armenian community for Assembly District 46. Historically one of the largest Armenian voter turn-out in election history.
