Those designs were developed from its concept to manufacturing and final use at customer site.•Designed the shipping container for the High Pressure Turbine Rotor HPTR transportation used to ship these modules to Brazil by sea. This design included a shock absorber system to meet with the safety requirements to guarantee the Rotor integrity during the trip. All requirements were complied and same design was used for other GE Engines as GE90, GE9X and LM9000. Same for tool used to install the Coupling Nut in the HPT Shaft avoiding the jump off problem in the GE Turbines.•Technical Substantiation for tooling designs by performing Stress (FEA, ANSYS), Dimensional (GD&T, Stackups) and Virtual analyses (3D Modeling, UG NX16, Teamcenter, VisMockup). Responsible of the quality of deliverables, technical documentation and manufacturing drawings as a checker and assist Designers Team in the ASME Y14.5 standard application.•Supported vendors and suppliers to make the manufacturing processes easier and reduce costs. Solved the issues of exiting tools detecting the root cause of them. Kept on track project schedules and budgets to successfully and quickly complete each tool by using the Six Sigma methodology.•Led Design Presentations for not considered tools in the assembly/disassembly procedures directly to the Technical Experts in US (Seniors, Principals and Consulting Engineers) getting the approvals to move the projects forward and budget authorizations. It was reflected in changes to engine parts and the procedures in the Engine Manuals. Show less
