Years of being a student in group and solo Pilates sessions prepared me for a decision to pursue teacher training during the COVID Pandemic and I wanted to create a personal space for practicing and teaching family, friends, and neighbors. I've researched replacement products for the home - furnace, central air conditioner, dehumidifier, sump pump, radon mitigation, windows, dish washer, refrigerator - and I thoroughly vetted the contractors who installed these products for our use. I general contracted the remodel of our master bathroom - selecting products, receiving multiple bids, accepting offers, and coordinating an organized timeline (windows, carpentry, plumbing, tile, glass, electrical, inspection, drywall, painting). I schedule car, electrical, and plumbing maintenance. I am involved in cleaning, cooking, drywall repair, finances, grocery shopping, laundry, lawn care, snow removal, and wall painting. I exceeded all requirements with 118 pre-curriculum, 126 self-mastery, 264 teaching, and 58 observation hours. My student teaching experience included detailed and thorough fitness screenings, case studies, research writing, and book reports. I organized and reviewed all study materials when preparing to successfully complete online and in-person exams at Polestar Education Headquarters in Miami, Florida.

I worked with educational coaches to assess reading skills of students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. Assessment results identified students who qualified for interventions. I provided daily, individualized tutoring based on each student's current skill level and assessed their progress weekly and every 4 months during the school year, according to their grade level. Being an advocate for student literacy, I achieved a personal goal to read, alphabitize, cite, type, spell check, and scan 87 Level C Reading Passages for my 1st grade students' duet reading interventions.
