This project entails the excavations at Peshka rock shelter and surveying at Uzun Mera paleolithic site. It was a 3 week program where students learned to excavate, survey, leveling, lithic photography and illustrations, identify and record artifacts (pottery and lithics), and identify features. The program included twelve lectures and four visits to sites and museums. -
