Provides compassionate care to patients who suffer acute/critical illness and injuries utilizing hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, diagnostic test, and patient/family education.Mentors and precepts students, new graduates and experienced registered nurses. Organizes education for new hire registered nurses.Professional Qualifications: Advanced airway and ventilator management, Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), Conscious sedation and assistance with bedside critical care procedures, Cardiogenic, septic, anaphylactic & hypovolemic/hemorrhagic shock management , Synchronized cardioversion, Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), Massive blood transfusion protocol (MTP), ARDS management, Swan–Ganz pulmonary artery catheter management, Targeted temperature management, Titration of neuromuscular blockade agents, analgesics, and sedatives, Titration of vasoactive and inotropic medications.

Provided care to adult patients with acute/chronic exacerbations and compromising illness and injuries. Experience includes but not limited to tracheostomy care, ventilator management and weaning, cardiac rhythm and strip interpretation, titration and management of high risk medications: heparin, diltiazem, amiodarone, insulin, morphine, hydromorphone.

Works aside medical team to provide excellent care for patients. Responsible for patient’s comfortable stay and meeting personal needs. Other tasks include: vital signs, blood draws, IV insertion and removal, urethral catheter insertions and removal, bladder scans and ECGs.
