• Oxfam IBIS is a Danish NGO that works to support equal access to education, influence and resources for both men and women in Africa and Latin America.I worked 15 hrs per week parallel to my university.
• Recruiting, training and debriefing Danish university students doing a six months internship with Ibis in Denmark or in a developing country.
• I also assisted the two Latin American desk officers on donor reporting to Danida and others.Results:
• I was highly involved in the development of the internship program, which was initiated at the time of my employment. By 2004 the program involved 30 interns yearly.

Bolivia

• The South America branch of the Danish NGO Ibis aims to strengthen indigenous movements, implementing programs to enable the movements to assert collective and democratic rights.

• Carried out a study of the political potential of Bolivia's many indigenous movements, collaborating with Bolivian sociologist Monica Valentina Crespo.
