About Astrid Munch

My educational background is a Master of Science from DTU and an Industrial Ph.D. from Carlsberg Research Center. I have worked with management since 2014 both with direct reports and as a matrix manager. Since 2019 I have been heading an agile team of 9 laboratory technicians and 2 scientists responsible for fermentation and purification of enzymes in R&D Novozymes in Denmark. The team was formed in 2019 as a pilot project on how to change a rigid setup with dedicated resource to an agile mindset. This has given me experience with change management, conflict handling, stakeholder management and it has given me the chance to demonstrate my leadership style: clear goals, empowerment, and trust.
