Our program is growing. My role is to research and co-design solutions for how our operations will scale over the next 10 years. This involves conducting interviews, running workshops, designing initiatives and detailed project and stakeholder management. This is a highly sensitive project, needing a considered approach. Many of the program outcomes are leading to changes in the way our projects are run across the team.

I managed the NABERS training program. During this time, I led the transformation of the training experience at NABERS from face-to-face to fully digital platform led. This means any prospective Assessor can now learn the skills they want, when they want, that will enable them to collect accurate and meaningful data on any building eligible for a NABERS rating. Making sure our courses are accurate, accessible and engaging was all part of the brief.

The Better Buildings Partnership (BBP) is a collaboration of the UK’s leading commercial property owners who are working to develop solutions to improve the sustainability of existing commercial building stock and achieve substantial CO2 savings.My key responsibilities so far have been:• Day-to-day coordination of one of the leading organisations in real estate sustainability in the UK which brings together 27 of the most influential property owners in the field • Active participation in the launch of the Managing Agents Partnership, a brand new initiative providing a forum for the major managing agents to share best practise in sustainability management• Preparation of working groups on the topic of sustainability in the commercial real estate sector • Management of the launch of two new websites • Responsible for promoting the organisation online via the website, twitter and LinkedIn • Overseeing and drafting member case studies, blogs and industry insights • Drafting meeting minutes and quarterly and weekly industry updates • Organisation of key meetings and site visits for BBP members, including a 2-day field trip abroad
