Astrid is the MD of Hexagon Cup, covering commercial, business development and marketing responsibilities.With a 15-year career in the international sports industry, Astrid began her career at Real Madrid CF, where she was responsible for international licensing and business development, before moving to Adidas as Business Director, overseeing the club’s retail, licensing and commerce businesses for seven years. Astrid subsequently spent five years with global digital sports platform, Fanatics, as VP for Strategic Retail and Events. In this role, she worked across international events, including the ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia, Euro 2020, NFL International Games in London, NBA Paris Games, PSG and entertainment projects including the record-breaking Harry Styles Tour at Wembley.Passionate about the development of women’s participation in sport, both on and off the pitch, Astrid regularly participates in industry events and forums on inclusion and diversity in sport.Born in Madrid, and having lived and worked in Spain, the USA, UK, France and Germany, Astrid is a lifelong padel player and fan. As a long-time sports fan, Astrid is passionate about the sport’s growth across new markets worldwide.
