Under the mentorship of Drs. Bethan Gregory and Eryn Cangi I investigate atmospheric loss on Mars and Venus by improving a Monte Carlo particle transport model and photochemistry model under a Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program Individual Grant.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Margaret Landis I utilize ArcGIS Pro to map the frequency and size of avalanches in the north polar ice cap region of Mars from data obtained from the High-Resolution Imaging Experiment (HiRISE) camera aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO).Additionally, I map ice changes in impact craters and use a surface-atmospheric model of the Martian North Polar Layer Deposit to analyze climate change of the polar regions of Mars.

I perform educational shows about astronomy and physics, perform music light shows to people of all ages, operate a unique computer and projection system, program new content across 7 renderers, and work closely with a small team of navigators and presenters to produce new content.

At Fiske Planetarium I handle all scheduling related to K-12 school groups visiting the planetarium, including handling liability insurance. Additionally, I was in charge of the Fiske email account, and oversaw all donations.Additionally, during public shows I sold tickets and handled the front office during shows.

As a summer instructor for CU Science Discovery, I specifically worked on the What-If Hypothetical Implementations in Minecraft (WHIMC) camps. Along with a small group of other instructors, I taught planetary science principles to kids in grades 4-6 and grades 6-8. I facilitated small and large group discussions on the progress made in learning these principles while building context through field trips to Fiske Planetarium and Sommers-Bausch Observatory, as well as teaching the technicalities of the WHIMC Minecraft Servers.

RECON is the Research and Education Collaborative Occultation Network. It is a citizen science research project that explores the outer solar system, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). At this position I observed occultations of Trans Neptunian Objects (TNOs) with an 11 inch telescope and QHY camera, catalogued data, and communicated with 50+ different teams of community members, high school teachers and their students to coordinate observations.

The Learning Assistant program at CU Boulder employs undergraduate students to assist course instructional teams in creating optimal learning environments for students. As a Learning Assistant, I facilitated discussions among groups of students in a variety of classroom settings that encourage active engagement.I worked with the Department of Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences in their "Introductory Astronomy Solar System" course directing weekly labs and overseeing and guiding nighttime observing sessions at the Sommers-Bausch Observatory.
