I co-organize nerdy and informative public talks once a month. Each event features three, approximately 20 minute presentations covering anything nerdy; drinking encouraged. “It’s like discovery channel with beer.”

• I offer proofreading services and the correction of scientific manuscripts before submission or in the course of revision. > 60 corrected articles, mainly from UBO, a French university, and IFREMER, a French.
• Simple translations from French to English.
• Wrote eight general interest articles for the University of Alberta's Physics website.

I provided administrative support to the Centre for Particle Physics (CPP). I provided content and managed the CPP website. I occasionally wrote publicity articles for the U of A publications Express News and Folio. I organized scientific conferences on behalf of the CPP, and edited the proceedings of the conferences using LaTeX.

I marked assignments and exams for a variety of physics courses, ranging from first year astronomy and physics to third year astrophysics. I would assist the professors in proctoring the exams as well.

I worked primarily in the star theatre, using our Zeiss star projector to run live astronomy shows for up to 250 people. I wrote my own material which was designed primarily to educate, but also to entertain. In the summers I worked in the observatory, running three telescopes with a variety of filters and cameras. I would also work in the galleries.

I calibrated the Devon Astronomical Observatory's narrowband line filters using emission-lines from planetary nebulae.I assisted with the upkeep of the U of A Devon Astronomical Observatory and participated in many observation nights.
