I am a detail-oriented graduate student pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at Central Washington University, specializing in cutting-edge research on the Electric Vehicle Routing Problem through metaheuristic optimization algorithms. My academic journey has equipped me with a strong foundation in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering, providing a unique interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving.During my master's program, I delved into the development of solutions for the EVRP, focusing on optimizing routing strategies using innovative metaheuristic algorithms. This research culminated in pending publications that highlight the effectiveness of a novel adapted algorithm, NEH-NN (Nawaz, Enscore, Ham with constrained nearest neighbor subtour), as a seed solution for Genetic Algorithms in large-scale optimization scenarios.I have also honed my skills in High Performance Computing and CUDA, particularly through a project exploring the potential of Ant Colony Optimization in solving Traveling Salesman Problem instances using CUDA C/C++. By developing efficient parallel implementations of ACO for TSP solving on GPUs, I significantly reduced computational time for complex problem instances.I am passionate about leveraging my academic insights and project experiences in software development roles, particularly in areas intersecting applied mathematics, optimization, and computational efficiency. My goal is to contribute to innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology while making a positive impact on real-world challenges, such as sustainable transportation and logistics.Previously, I worked with AnyLogic Simulation to make hands-on digital twin simulations of various supply chain management concepts to be used in Central Washington University's undergraduate business programs.My experience also includes creating patent pending software that bridges a gap in the construction industry. The software allows the younger generations to be more excited about working in an often overlooked, but necessary, field.
