I have nearly two decades of leading strategic communications, PR, and public affairs initiatives across a number of global markets and industries.Before joining Funko, I led communications and PR for LegalZoom, supporting the tech company's various company announcements, leadership changes, and product initiatives. I worked directly with the CEO on a number of initiatives designed to build brand momentum, both internally and externally.For nine years, I was a senior communications executive at Amazon leading corporate affairs strategy for its historic logistics network expansion across the globe; served as advisor to executives during COVID-19 for health initiatives and managed tiger teams; led the media response and stakeholder engagement for the minimum wage announcement; built multi-channel communications for a global internal audience; engaged regularly with both Federal and local policymakers on the topics of wages, safety, and economic impact; delivered remarks on-camera and at large retail industry events, and built trust with internal stakeholders and executives during crisis scenarios.Prior to Amazon, I worked in public affairs as a consultant based out of Northern California and New York. I represented groups like Walmart and other retailers, industry coalitions such as the Alliance for Mainstreet Fairness, the Shinnecock Indian Nation, New York taxi cab drivers, US presidential candidates, education reformers, non-profits, community justice organizations, and tech companies. Aligning most to my personal passions, I served as press secretary for the No on Prop 23 campaign in California, which fought to preserve AB32; this coalition of diverse voices and interests delivered a landslide victory, still considered historic in California politics.
