Maintain more than 200 Windows Servers in a highly-virtualized Microsoft Hyper-V environment with a Compellent SAN as the storage backend. Utilize PowerShell in day-to-day administration.- Design, specify, configure, and install new systems, including hardware, software, virtual machines, servers, storage and other network devices.- Monitor, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and backup systems, including software, virtual machines, servers, and other network devices.- Monitor, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the virtual machine environment to ensure high-availability of systems.- Monitor, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the storage environment, including controllers, disk shelves, and software.- Provide web administration support by configuring and maintaining web, FTP, application performance management (APM), and vulnerability scanner servers.- Provide file and print administration support by configuring and maintaining file and print servers.- Assist the security and network administrator with monitoring, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting antivirus, identify finder, deep security manager, and proxy servers.- Assist the database administrator with monitoring, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting database servers.- Develop strategies for improving design, performance, maintenance, and backup/recovery of systems. Create and maintain scripts and scheduled jobs to automate performance of web, database, file, security, and monitoring tasks.- Document systems to satisfy business continuity, PCIDSS, security, inventory, and supportability requirements.

I taught a section of SPEA V261, Technology in Public Affairs, to 30 students. The goal of the course was for the students to have a basic understanding of IT Systems and be able to use common applications to turn data into actionable information in real-world scenarios.
