Anne co-founded and led the Rainbow Action Network in Napa, California, before moving to North Carolina with her family and expanding the work she started in Napa to the South and beyond. Their family recently moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. As Anne continues to build a solid foundation for Rainbow Collective for Change in North Carolina, she is also establishing herself as a connector for families that are seeking refuge in Minnesota from North Carolina and other states with anti-trans and LGBTQIA+ laws. Anne obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Public Health degree (concentrations in Health Education and Behavioral Sciences) at University of California, Los Angeles. Her background in the field of psychology gives her a strong sense of how mental illness and substance use affects youth and families. However, her public health lens keeps her focused on systemic and community change; building community level protective factors; and social and health equity.
