• Takes care of overall Foundry lab duties as well as Quality issues and concerns• Conducting and Organizing Root Cause Analysis on different Quality, Production and Engineering Issues.• Making charge calculations for different alloys including Monel and Stainless-Steel family.• Perform spectrum analysis before pouring the metals into moulds, calculating, and making any additions ifrequired.• Assist in the surveillance of Nuclear Application parts and perform the specialized tests as per customerrequest.• Ordering and maintaining lab supplies as well as weld wires.• Making Material Test Reports, Issuance of Heat Numbers, and Incoming Materials testing - QA Release andmanagement.• Verify microstructure for defects or oxides and degassing purposes using microscopy.• Perform green sand testing as per AFS standards and procedures as well as calibration of sand mixers, coreshooters and different moulding machines.• Conduct Tensile test, weld test and Brinell Hardness tests when required.• Participate in Joint Health and Safety meetings, safety talks and other safety inspections.
