I am an islander born in to a family who did advertisement for generations and ever since I was a little kid I was taught to be independent and make my own decisions. Every time I failed, I found a way to take lesson from it and every time I succeed, I aimed higher with my life.Since beginning of time, I was in to numbers and economic theories, thus I decided to move to UK and study Economics. To be honest, I was the biggest nerd, organised and competitive child in my family. I had my own goals and own plans. In my second year of study, I watched my family taking a wrong step and losing everything. Followed with the biggest tragedy of my life, losing a loved one to cancer. As you can imagine I had rough couple of months, however, I came back stronger than ever. I had no experiences in UK rather than summer studies and my degree but I was dedicated to my goal. Lockdown never slowed me down, even provided me the strength to work harder. Now, I am writing my dissertation under gender discrimination to complete my degree and at the same time I started my first job in the Sales and Marketing industry where I am also getting trained by the best coaches and mentors in the industry, learning about managing teams and campaigns and developing my skills.I define myself as an ambitious, creative and positive individual. So, now, I am at the starting point of my career and I never felt this passion before. There’s certainly yet more to learn, yet more to solve and yet more to build. And for this, I am really grateful. With the opportunity I was given, I am one step closer to my goals as I was able to learn how to overcome my fears.When I was younger, I had a different vision of life. Whereas now, my long term goal is being a 40 year old cool mum traveling around globe with my kids, healthy and with no regrets.
