As a software engineer in product-driving team, I was mostly working with TGTG Platform Donations and TGTG Reports systems – both business-critical systems. • Developed TGTG Donations from Scratch: Built the TGTG Donations system from the ground up, introducing a unique item type using Domain-Driven Design. This solution laid the foundation for future microservice scalability and integration with major retailers like ALDI.• Optimized Item Property Handling: Refactored item property management, reducing database calls by 30% and infrastructure costs by 10%, significantly improving system performance and scalability.• State-Machine for Donations: Implemented an independent state-machine, improving system from the unnecessary scaling with huge God-Classes.• Improved Monitoring & Release Process: Streamlined the monitoring and release process using Grafana and alert systems, reducing production incidents by 40% during pilot releases for high-profile clients such as Starbucks, Burger King, and McDonald’s.• Address Validation and Location Restrictions: Presented a comprehensive solution for address and location validation, designed for business logic that requires precise location data for purchases. The solution was developed after an in-depth analysis of APIs, including Photon, Nominatim, and Google Address API, to ensure accurate, efficient and secure validation and storage of personal data for users.
