• Primarily covering financial sector particularly in Malaysia.• Responsible to form annual and quarterly recommendation and view inclusive corporate exercises and proposals to assess impact, risk and opportunities under coverage to fund managers and senior management to enable sound investment making decisions.• Assist in formulating quarterly investment strategy for approval by the stakeholders and to be implemented by PNB and funds under its management.• Undertake stock screening on public listed companies and monitor investment themes affecting financial sector (e.g. closely monitor the developments of microeconomics and financial sector globally) to formulate a comprehensive view and recommendation to the senior management in relation to the sector and global mega-trends.• Develop, maintain and enhance valuation models to analyse company performance (forecast earnings and fair values).• Establish and maintain a good relationships with the management of the companies and external research houses to ensure an effective flow of valuable information related to the company, industry and regulatory.

• Underwent two weeks rotations at various core departments of PNB specifically in Investment Analysis, Private Equity, Property/Real Estate and Unit Trust Department.• Completed classroom training in investment/finance programme such as valuation, project financing, portfolio management and accounting. • Assisted manager of AML/CFT to conduct Customer Due Diligences (CDD), On-going Due Diligence (ODD)/ Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviewing for bank-wide customer database according to BNM AML/CFT guidelines and Bank’s internal policies and procedures on AML/CFT compliance.• Conducted Delta Screening using the AML system on existing customers against full Dow Jones Hit.• Successfully help the team to increase the volume of reviewing the customer profile three times more than original volume done per day by improving the process of reviewing which help the team to achieve the target set by the management and BNM.

• Islamic Capital Market Graduate Training Scheme is a comprehensive training program developed by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC).• The program is primarily to expose the young graduates to theoretical and practical knowledge of capital market mainly on Islamic capital market.

• Carried out basic research and collected data on a logistics related project, whereby the main focus of the analysis is on Pos Malaysia Berhad by looking on its core of business and their competitors.• Acted as a supporting consultant at meetings and primary interview in terms of capturing inputs of discussion with all layers of the management of Pos Malaysia Berhad and a few other companies.
