Leading the Victorian Government’s strategic initiatives for international education across Greater China and Latin America, focusing on government-to-government relations, institutional partnerships, and research collaborations. Also managing the Study Melbourne offshore hubs— a flagship initiative—across China, Vietnam, Malaysia, India, and Latin America, ensuring seamless program delivery and impact.

Managed the Victorian Government’s engagement with the Middle East and Africa, overseeing economic, social, and diplomatic initiatives while strengthening relationships with diplomatic representatives in Australia. Provided strategic economic and political insights on regional developments to guide Victoria’s engagement strategies. Led ministerial and senior government delegations to and from the region, ensuring alignment with the government’s strategic priorities.

Led the development of Victoria’s strategic direction for international education across South Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and North Asia, encompassing institutional partnerships, international research collaborations, and broader sector engagement. Facilitated inbound delegations with leading scholarship bodies, universities, and vocational sectors in collaboration with Victorian education institutions, promoting Victoria’s education sector globally.

Served as the key contact for the Victorian Government’s Family Violence Secretaries Board Subcommittee and Interdepartmental Committee, collaborating with senior executives across departments to coordinate positions on various aspects of the reform. Co-led the development of a Baseline Report assessing the effectiveness of the government’s $2.9 billion investment in family violence reform. Managed relations with the independent Family Violence Reform Implementation Monitor, ensuring government accountability in delivering its flagship family violence initiatives.

Delivery of the “Integration of Migrants Community in Australia” project. This involved provision of advice on research design, methodology, questionnaire development,conducting interviews with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities and undertaking qualitative and quantitative research

Served as Desk Officer for Afghanistan’s diplomatic and economic relations with the Middle East and Africa, coordinating closely with Afghan embassies to enhance bilateral cooperation. Facilitated high-level delegations from the Middle East to Afghanistan and supported official Afghan visits to the region, maximizing collaboration opportunities. Conducted political analysis on Middle East and monitoring news, reviewing internal cables, and reporting key developments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
