Recognition of high professional performance with BP Award • I managed the project debottlenecking of ethanol dehydration, resulting in the 50% increase in the production of anhydrous ethanol. Due this project I was nomination for Career Acceleration Program (CAPs) with assessment in Chicago/USA;• I led the project to improve the efficiency of sugar extraction on diffuser, using real-time monitoring systems and process control strategies, increasing the efficiency from 96.5% to 97.2%;• I manage the project to improve the fermentation efficiency using real-time monitoring systems and also process control strategies, increasing the efficiency from 88% to 89%;• I conducted a research project that developed a new innovative fermentation process, with potential increase of 66% (from 9 to 15°GL) of alcohol content on fermentation;• I carried out a study of a biomass thermoelectric power generation project integrated in optimized way in the unit with an increase of 50 MWh in the export of electricity to the grid;• I performed an assessment of technical and economic feasibility to bring more straw from field through baling, focusing on a biomass thermoelectric power generation to increase in 50 MWh of electricity to the grid;• I led a study to install a dry cleaning system aiming to remove 50% of impurities with positive impact on crushing capacity, extraction efficiency and boiler performance;• I coordinated a team work project to increase the crushing capacity (more 1 MTon/season) in all BP´s units through technical proposals for removing existing bottlenecks.
