About Allison Taladay

Allison was a Presidential Scholar at Indiana State University. She received this honor for her scholastic and extracurricular achievement in high school. This award included a scholarship that covered tuition, room and board, and a stipend for books for 8 semesters at Indiana State University.Allison began her career at Robert Bosch, LLC, a privately held automotive company. She participated in Bosch's rotational program as a Finance Professional Development Trainee. Upon graduating from the program, she took a position as a Plant Reporting analyst for the Diesel Systems division in Charleston, SC. After a year in the plant reporting analyst role, Allison transitioned to a product cost analyst role to gain understanding of product costs at a more detailed level. Within 18 months of taking the product analyst role, Allison was promoted to Senior Product Analyst in recognition of her thorough understanding of the financial concepts, improvement projects, and eagerness to aid others within the department. After more than five years with Bosch, Allison relocated to the Portland, Oregon Area and took a job with Emerald Performance Materials, a private equity owned specialty chemical company. At Emerald, Allison gained a deeper understanding of all pieces of the P&L and Balance Sheet. She worked closely with cross functional teams to forecast volume, revenue, variable costs, etc. She developed Power BI datasets and dashboards to improve accessibility and clarity of information. On a regular basis, she presented and collaborated with senior management, including the CEO and CFO, on monthly business results, external financial presentations, and M&A or business development projects.After more than 4 more years with Emerald, Allison relocated back home to Indiana and accepted a remote position with Zimmer Biomet, a publicly traded medical device company. Allison partnered with the Total Extremities business partners to forecast Revenue and R&D and Marketing operating expenses and present a clear story for the segment's performance versus plan and historical trends.Allison left Zimmer to pursue an opportunity to collaborate again with a colleague from Emerald. At First Brands Group Allison is using her talents and experience with business intelligence to bring value to the organization through streamlined processes and clear data outputs.

Tracked SG&A expenses (salaries, benefits, guarantees, commissions, and T&E) as well as COGS and distribution versus each team member’s sales. Allowed management to track a pseudo-Operating Income for individual reps, teams, territories, and regions. Built T&E monitors to highlight individual reps with higher than average expenses so leaders could monitor policy compliance.
