With over a decade of professional experience in education, my core strengths lie in mentoring and fostering connections within the healthcare sector for my students. My mission is to guide aspiring medical professionals to find their passion and assist in creating plans to achieve their goals. In class, I try to incorporate my 14 years of previous nursing experience to assist in a perspective outside of the textbook. My role extends beyond traditional teaching; it's a dynamic partnership with medical professionals that cultivates the experiences for our students. As a Board Member at Dubois County PRIDE, my role as Youth Facilitator is to organize monthly meetings for our countywide Mosaic LGBTQ+ youth group and organize volunteers for a Pride Festival.
