Waterford 3 Nuclear Power Station

Coordinate and maintain Emergency Preparedness and Response plans and procedures for a Commercial Nuclear Power Facility in accordance with 10CFR50 App. E, 10CFR47(b), and NUREG-0654/FEMA-REP-1. Coordinate on-site Emergency Response Organization and Facilities. Functioned as a facility controller for drills and exercises. Assisted with training of response personnel as necessary. Interfaced with federal, state, and local emergency management agencies.

Duties included but are not limited to daily rounds and logs on plant equipment, surveillance testing of safety related equipment, electrical component operations, manual valve operations, coordinating with control room operators, serving on site fire brigade.
