I am a Psychology graduate with experience in a vast range of fields including non-profit organisations, youth work, disabled children, self-employment, office work and a variety of retail positions.Although I live with a severe stammer, it has not prevented me from experiencing a wide range of working situations. This has allowed me to develop excellent organisational, time management and communication skills. In addition, I am strongly self-motivated, personable and work well both as an individual and in a team. I have also developed strong analytical and critical thinking skills both within my degree program and as a result of my work experience. As a regular user of IT in both work and personal settings I am confident and competent with IT systems, and very comfortable with social media as a promotional tool. My personal interests centre mainly around contemporary culture and politics. I take a keen interest in the world of modern and popular culture and like to keep up to date with new developments in all spheres. I also take an interest in politics and international affairs and keep myself well educated upon the events and issues of the day. I am passionate about issues of social and economic justice, and interested in movements to create a fairer, more sustainable and more equitable society for all.
