Mechanised Hard Rock Tunneling Superintendent
Currently, I am employed as the Headrace Tunnel Superintendent at FARAB Energy & Water Projects who is one of the Iranian’s most respected Hydropower General Contractors. I am actively seeking work in my specialty – design engineering and construction of tunnels, underground, and other geotechnical structures. In brief, my experience and qualifications are extensive and diverse in design engineering and construction for Tunneling, Underground Structures, and mine development. My primary expertise is underground design and construction: hard rock tunnels, a deep mine, and construction shafts, and underground structure developments. For the past nine years, I have been superintendent of the Headrace Tunnel & 3 shafts and Acting Project Manager at the Uma Oya Project in Sri Lanka (the headrace tunnel is 15km long through extremely complex geology and hydrogeology with two double shielded TBMs one of which is a downgrade and the three shafts have been excavated by raise bore and at 618m is one of the deepest raise bore shafts in the world). I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mining Engineering and Master of Science in Rock Mechanics.At this time I am looking for a new challenge with all my experiences.
