As founder and director of Parenting University, I responded to a growing community need. I coordinated and created a thorough parenting curriculum for a broad population of culturally diverse families, specializing in working parents of infants through young adults.Parenting University served 600+ families each year, and our groundbreaking curriculum quickly became the model for other parenting schools around the world.

I founded the Advisory Center for Adolescents to create a leading-edge walk-in facility for teenagers with addictions. While overseeing the counseling programs for teenagers, I delivered lectures and interactive workshops to educate parents about addiction, recovery and how to help their teenagers cope with stress and make better decisions.
