CurrentAtaria is a writer, editor and talk curator. Her articles and essays have been published in The Spinoff, Stuff NZ, Sunday magazine, Broadsheet, Heritage NZ magazine, The Pantograph Punch, E-Tangata, Te Whē Journal of Māori Literature, Awa Wahine magazine and the Māori Literature Trust. In 2021, Ataria received the Verb Festival micro writers residency in Wellington.She is the editor of the semi-annual printed magazine Awa Wahine, edited five bi-monthly issues for The Pantograph Punch and curated the panel 'Mothering Through Climate Change' for HER Festival 2023. She has done sensitivity reading for HarperCollins and The Pantograph Punch.
