Started out as systems programmer on IBM midrange and mainframe around 1990,mainly responsible for VTAM network and TSO/E environments. When the company started introducing OS/2 LAN Server and NetWare servers this also became my task to manage including the corporate backbone network. Moved on to a systems integrator and became responsible for large customers. Went to Novell European Support Center in 1996 working in their Premium Support team and have since then worked with enterprise customers. Most of the time being designated against one single or a few customers responsible for all technical questions and issues and managing these customers from a technical aspect. This includes both problem resolution on my own and escalation management. Main products have been NetWare OS, NDS/eDirectory, ZENworks and since 2004 SUSE Linux Enterprise. Being a certified instructor I have delivered both internal and external trainings and developed own training material as well as delivering presentations at Novell Brainshare conferences.I enjoy sharing knowledge and have written a number of public documents like a product deployment guide, Novell AppNotes, Cool solution articles and numerous Technical Information Documents.
