• Created an R shiny application to monitor the growth of HABs (Harmful Algal Blooms) on water bodies and presented the deliverables to the industry experts using Lake Erie, North America as a case study. • Extracted, processed, and transformed the satellite images of the selected geographic areas from Google Earth Engine platform using the RGEE library in R studio and performed Time Series Analysis for forecasting.• The application was successfully launched for Water security and monitoring purposes and could be further enhanced to monitor environmental issues such as forest fires, deforestation, urbanisation, snow cover monitoring etc.
