I'm a graphic designer with experience spanning more than a decade, well-versed in all areas of visual design and communications including print, branding and logos, stationery, website design, illustration, signage, custom lettering and more. I have assisted a wide range of businesses across varying industries with their marketing and advertising initiatives for both print and web.In my works, I always prioritize meaning over form (in fact, I’m known for it!) as I believe meaning is the principle that organizes form, and forms are only ‘carriers’ of meaning. This makes my designs not only aesthetically pleasing, but also, effective, relevant and meaningful. I also apply experience and knowledge of effective marketing techniques and business development strategies in conjunction with my talent for graphic design. Developing a thorough understanding of my clients’ businesses and their brand, product/service allows me to create a finished product that successfully reflects their brand personality, conveys their message and reaches their intended audience.I’m also a photographer by night and have completed many photography assignments ranging from family portraits to weddings, corporate photography, food photography/styling, and book projects, both for Iranian and overseas client. I am able to manage all facets of photo shoots including scheduling, designing sets, shooting, and photo editing, and am fully confident with my digital and technical skills, both on and off shooting.Finally, I've founded and am running my own small business, JOASA where I both design and make limited-edition jewelry and accessories in my little studio in Tehran. In my designs I combine my knowledge and practice in art and put my heart and soul in every items to create meaningful and unique pieces.I work well independently as well as in a team, and am available for freelance, contract, white label design services, photography projects, and accept order for jewelry and accessories.
