I have been working as Social Media Director at one of the largest and most established independent agencies in Turkey, since April '21. I and my team are responsible for more than 20 brands, including FIAT, Jeep, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Philips, Pepsi, Doritos, Ruffles, Lay's, AVIS, and Nestlé.

I worked for ex-Wunderman, now-Wunderman Thompson as the leader of the social media team. I was responsible for 16 brands inc. Mercedes-Benz, Nestlé, Eti, Vakıfbank, Sanofi, Pfizer, HARIBO etc. and for 13 team members. Wunderman identifies itself as a “data-driven creative agency”, so I contributed to this vision with my team. Doing so, I gained invaluable know-how on data and how to use it for the brand’s benefit, myself.

I started at Rework, a relatively small digital agency with clients like UNICO, Karaca, and Yargıcı, as a Creative Strategist and became Agency Director in 2017. Despite being Karaca’s digital agency, a movie copy that we scripted/wrote/shot/created had played in the theatres and TV. As the agency director, I was responsible for 6 brands and 11 team members.

Dekatlon Digital Advertising Agency has assigned me as Avea-Woops (an Avea sub-brand for youth segment) team head on September 2014. There, I ran the entire communication with the brand, made the final touches for reports, projects and presentation documents that my team has made, and directly worked with my team for creative and content generation process.

I co-founded Social Mafia, a digital advertising agency with my other two partners, at November 2013. We served many brands/companies included Jatomi, INTERSPORT, Liv Hospital, Kemerburgaz University, Bella B, Monster for operating and monitoring their social media communication, building their digital communication strategy, running and reporting their social media (Facebook, LinkedIn) and Google ads, creating digital projects, making them new websites and micro-sites.

I was Digital Brand Manager for IKEA Turkey, at Di by Grey (Grey Istanbul’s digital department) from 2012 to 2013.I ran IKEA Turkey’s entire digital communication, created social media contents, came up with digital Project ideas and presented these ideas to IKEA Turkey. I also ran their Facebook ad campaigns and monitored the web daily and analyzed the monitoring data for the brand.During my time in Grey, I contributed many large brands’ communication like Nike, Canon, Türk Telekom, Ülker, Ergo and Feast with creative contents and project ideas.

I ran brand communication with the agencies. I was responsible for social media accounts and websites of the brand. I also ran Google ads and planned strategies for raising internet sales. I was able to bring a remarkable raise on the sales.

I worked as copywriter and social media executive for many brands/companies such as Filli Boya, Panda, Veet, Vaseline, Doğuş Group, at BASE and PromoQube. I created their communication plans, digital projects ideas and ran their communications. I also operated Facebook ads and reported these campaigns.
