Faría+Fábregas Galería closed its doors in January 2014.Faría+Fábregas Galería was established in Caracas in 2007 founded by Ana Teresa Fábregas and Henrique Faria (Henrique Faria Fine Art, NY). It specialized in the buying and selling of modern and contemporary works of art, mainly by Venezuelan and Latin American artists, with a strong emphasis on Geometric Abstraction and Conceptualism.The Gallery had an ongoing schedule of exhibitions of works for sale and participated in the major international art fairs.Clients included both new and established individual collectors, museums, foundations and corporate art collections. The artists range from the pioneers of modern and kinetic art beginning in the 1950’s, such as Alejandro Otero, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Sergio Camargo, Omar Carreño, Gego and Jesús Soto, to the current generation of artists that are continuing the tradition of abstraction and conceptual work.
