Bond Roberts is the industry leading online auction platform for vintage and collectible cigars. I am responsible for leading the technical side of the business.

Reference encyclopedia for collectors of Cuban cigars.Initially I developed the software with site founder Trevor Leask from 2008. Gradually my responsibilities increased to include complete day-to-day operation of the site from circa 2012. In 2014 full ownership passed to me. Built in C# ASP.net and SQL server.

Honee is a discovery platform and SaaS provider for the wellness and beauty industry. As CTO, my role is running the product side of the business. Everything we do is from the ground up - we have no legacy or off-the-shelf systems, and we approach every feature with an open mind and try and do it in the best way possible - we never do anything because "that's the way it's always been done."Honee is a graduate of the Melbourne Accelerator Program and Startmate and has raised three investment rounds.I use a range of tech, but mostly it's pretty vanilla Microsoft stack: ASP.net MVC5, C#, SQL Server, Azure, JavaScript, HTML5.

Contract position working on CCH's Global Integrator - an accounting and tax compliance package used by blue chip multi-nationals. Contract position with digital agency Revium. Projects have included web applications for the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, Alinta Energy, Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, Thiess, Simply Energy, Aurora Energy, and Office of Public Prosecutions, along with as-needed clutch work on various legacy projects.Technologies used: ASP.net 4.5, MVC5, C#, SQL Server 2012, JQuery, Agile development.

My role was primarily centred around research and development for an image recognition component to the Fat Secret API.Technologies used: C#.net 4.0, ASP.net WebForms (including extensive JQuery, and WCF and JSON web services), WinForms, iOS, and SQL Server. Extensive use of OpenCV and other image manipulation, machine-learning and search algorithm frameworks. Fat Secret follows Agile development methodologies.

IsMy Software develops a suite of custom financial, project management and CRM software for their parent company the Johns Lyng Group, Victoria’s largest insurance builder. They also develop various other web and mobile applications including yourcaretaker.com.au, ismygolf.com, and ismycv.com.au.As the lead developer I was involved in early stage meetings with stakeholders, gathering of requirements, and, together with a project manager, user experience design and systems architecture. All of our projects consumed web-services to some extent, and I was frequently required to liaise with the development teams of external insurance companies, payment providers etc. to facilitate this. I was directly responsible for three staff, and oversaw the entire team in a mentorship capacity.Technologies used: .net (4.0 and 3.5), VB.net, C#.net, ASP.net (WebForms and MVC3), WinForms, SQL Server 2008, web services, AJAX, JSON, LINQ, JQuery, JavaScript, as well as development of iOS apps in Objective C. Developed Professional Development Tracker (www.pdtrack.com.au), as a consultant to Dyskors. I undertook all programming work, using ASP and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. Subsequent maintenance, including major upgrades in 2007, 2008, and 2010.

At MOX I worked with a local team in developing DIMASIS, a web application to provide a unified interface for the various systems (SCADA control, mapping, CRM, maintenance, various billing and financial systems) used by MOX client the Shanghai Natural Gas Pipeline Company. My duties included major architectural design work and high level programming. As a senior member of the team I was involved in training and mentoring local staff and ensuring that the software product was of an international standard.Technologies used: ASP.net C# 3.5, SQL Server 2008, PostgreSQL, AJAX, web services, XML, and DevExpress controls.

Digital Tree builds bespoke Windows, web based and mobile applications for a variety of medium sized clients. My responsibilities covered the entire system development lifecycle including business analysis, specification development and quotation, system and database design, as well as coding, project management and coordinating staff. Client facing.Technologies used: VB.net 2.0, VB.net 1.1, .net Mobile Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, and DevExpress controls and reporting.

Developed web Transnational and Temporary (www.transnationalandtemporary.com.au) under contract as a consultant to Dyskors. I undertook all logical programming work. The application is an ASP.net interface for a Microsoft SQL Server database.

Tasks revolved around website creation and maintenance within RMIT’s proprietary XML based content management system.

Initially developing and maintaining proprietary content management system using ASP to interface with Microsoft SQL Server database. Later promoted to Senior Developer, responsible for staff and client training and web design. Major clients included: Australian Olympic Committee, Australian Football League and Department of Human Services.
