Main duties involved review of local and international standards and literature, desk study elaboration, geotechnical interpretative report update, identification of conflicts between existing assets and future developments, recommendations for conflicts resolution.-Project: Doha Metro (Red Line South and Gold Line) / Client: Qatar RailLead geotechnical designer responsible for Stage 3 of Risk Assessments to investigate tunneling works impact on existing structures including but not limited to high rise buildings, very important and sensitive structures for both Red Line South and Gold Line of Doha Metro. Lead geotechnical designer responsible for the detailed impact assessment of the TBM arrival and launching effects on the temporary walls at Al Sadd C Ring Station.-Project: Prince Turkey Alawwal Bridge / Client: ArRiyadh Development Authority (ADA)Lead geotechnical designer responsible for the geotechnical interpretation of ground investigation findings and detailed geotechnical design of deep foundations for the new road bridge at the intersection of Prince Turkey bin Abdulaziz Alawwal road with King Abdullah road. Main duties involved production of fully compliant detailed design and liaison with Structures Team.-Project: ArRiyadh Metro – Package 3 / Client: ArRiyadh Development Authority (ADA)Member of the Ground Engineering Team and responsible for the geotechnical design of viaducts, cut & cover tunnels, at-grade rail, depot buildings, temporary works support systems and associated structures. Review of Contractors’ design submissions and technical support during design implementation.

Civil & Geotechnical Lead operating in the defense sector being in the capacity of GPT (EADS group). As a member of the Civil Works core team, I worked alongside a client project management organisation to help develop a number of various military installation projects from conceptual design through to the construction stage. My ranging role included elaboration of feasibility design, review and approval of Contractors’ design and technical support during design implementation.

Member of the design team responsible for the GFIRs and final design reports of shallow and deep foundations for 30 underpasses / overpasses and 1 drainage channel including bearing capacity calculations, settlement predictions and derivation of spring stifness values. Final design of a 80m length soil nail wall. Liquefaction hazard assessments. Elaboration of calculation spreadsheets for the geotechnical design of structures. Project: Infrastructure design for the New Railway Line between Corinthos and Patras. Client: ERGOSE A.E. Member of the design team responsible for the geotechnical aspects of preliminary and final designs for 7 bored pile walls and 5 gravity L-shape retaining walls.Project: Design-Construction-Financing-Operation-Maintenance and Exploitation of the Project PATHE section from Maliakos to Kleidi. Client: HOCHTIEF, AKTOR, J&P AVAX, VINCI CGP, AEGEK, ATHENA. Member of the design team responsible for the geotechnical aspects of preliminary and final designs for 4 underpasses and their L-shape retaining wingwalls.Project: Elefsina-Korinthos-Patras-Pyrgos-Tsakona Motorway. Client: HOCHTIEF, AKTOR. Member of the design team responsible for final design reports of earthworks designs. Final design of supported and unsupported cuts. Final design of a 140m length soil nail wall.
