This global management consulting firm was appointed by a Greek Cement company (acquired by a French group) to review their operations in HQ and in all active plants in order to increase productivity and reduce major production costs. Hired as external consultant at Volos plant, had to review & audit, on-site, all daily operations and make concrete suggestions to transform the plant to a profitable business.

Role’s primary objective was to build and oversee the company’s operations and procedures to support its commercial activities and successfully launch robotic products to Greek & Cypriot markets. A key responsibility was to thoughtfully negotiate all new commercial agreements with major retail chains to properly place company’s products in their stores.

Appointed to this position, during challenging times, with the mandate to transform the local subsidiary to profitable business and well-managed operations. Strategic planning, focus & commitment along with rigorous execution led to market share increase and acceptance by customers, partners, competition.

My position required me to oversee and coordinate the work flow and work execution for the company offices in Athens as well as for the plant in Lamia.
