 In charge of drawing up schedules, budgets and procurement plans. Actively involved in analyzing requirements; comparing bids and negotiating contracts with vendors; supervising on-site activities; tackling and overcoming setbacks.

Corinth, Greece

Technical: Responsible for the anticorrosive treatment of two refinery CDUs and yield optimization of the desalter operation. Additionally responsible for treatments in downstream units such as HDS, HDT, MHC, VDU’s OVHD systems.  In charge of the CDU’s antifouling program and its monitoring. Performed forecasting and participated in trouble-shooting task force. Conducted safety and operational audits. Proposed proactive tactics and strategies for further improvement. Monitored follow-up activities. Reported to Area Manager of CHIMEC SpA and to the refinery management team, describing results and proposing strategies for improvement.Financial: Estimated and predicted budgeting costs to maximize profit. Met, without exceeding, the ceiling cost; thus, contributing to the extension of the Motor Oil contract from one to three years.Management: Coordinated, trained and offered direction to a group of MOH engineers and operators, enhancing project optimization and contributing to the effective assimilation of new engineers into the program.
