• Implemented dynamic quantization for pretrained MobileNetV2 model and achieved an accuracy improvement of 1% over statically quantized model without retraining in a Pytorch based emulation of Ambarella hardware computation• Implemented dynamically quantized convolution layers in Pytorch to ascertain effect on accuracy of the model• Developed framework to experiment with different quantized models and analyse layerwise activation statistics to gauge effectiveness as tracking variables for dynamic quantization• Designed and analyzed the effectiveness of multiple control schemes for dynamic variation of layer quantization parameters to maximize model accuracy while conforming to hardware architecture constraints• Identified and fixed a failure mode of dynamic quantization for Resnet, resulting in accuracy gain over static quantization• Prototyped a dynamic quantization implementation for Ambarella’s CV2 architecture by modifying deployed C code
