Acted as lead project manager and archivist for digitization project of the Glacier Photograph Collection. Photographic prints were set to be published in two separate database platforms that required following two sets of metadata standards to facilitate future scientific research. Catalogued, researched, digitized, and preserved 10,000+ photographic prints of different formats while curating object information for two different institutions. Established metadata guidelines for the project that included setting standards for obtaining spatial coordinates. Encouraged changes in current metadata language that reflected more honesty of the original object materials by adding object type terms and photographic negative/print information. Acted as a liaison between National Snow & Ice Data Center and CU Boulder Libraries. Developed metadata guidelines for the two organizations and balanced their different needs by working collaboratively with both.
