I currently instruct multiple laboratory courses in optics and electromagnetism with a focus on experimental methods and science communication. This independent role includes professional training in pedagogy, sessions in problem solving, one-on-one tutoring, and the development of curricula. In 2021, I taught general physics alongside faculty by assisting in an online classroom environment, facilitating student interactions within the framework of research-based activities, and studying discipline-based research in learning and teaching.

I currently research quantum metrology in Bose-Einstein condensates from a theoretical approach. This includes the composition of extensive simulations with the intention of improving experimental techniques and revealing conditions required for metrologically useful entanglement. My extensive experience with atomic, molecular, and atomic physics in experiment and theory is broad in application, ranging across particle physics, quantum information, and device engineering.Previously, I assisted in research at the Optical Pumping and Spin Dynamics Lab at WSU. I worked on multiple projects surrounding spin exchange optical pumping, including the design, construction, and implementation of components used in high-precision applications. This required a familiarity with standard experimental equipment and design, including circuitry and efficiency assessments.

I assisted and educated students in the Navy ROTC program at Washington State University and the University of Idaho. Topics ranged across the fields of calculus and general physics, including differentiation, integration, mechanics, electrostatics, and more.

Alongside HEROES NY, I collaborated with industry professionals in fashion and retail for the creation of art and media.

As an operator and technician, I worked primarily in a laboratory setting with an array of tools and programs. Some daily tasks included data collection, numerical and qualitative analysis of optical systems, and the diagnosis and repair of software and mechanical systems. Within the department of photonics testing, I held multiple certifications as the lead trainer and equipment operator, each requiring a consistent demonstration of ability. The atmosphere of the workplace was often inviting and active. nLight was clearly invested in the wellness and training of their employees, and I attended every potluck and training course available to me.
